Legal Profession Act 2008 Disclosure

The Legal Profession Act 2008 requires that we make available information to our clients if they have concerns regarding the process of invoices and their accounts.

The following avenues are upon to clients to discuss with our Solicitors if they have concerns as to their accounts, or their costs in general:

  • You may request an itemisation of your bill;
  • You may discuss your concerns with us, with no charge to you;
  • You can seek that our costs are assessed; or
  • You can apply to have our costs agreement set aside.

For more information about our costs or to discuss any of the options open to you, please contact the practitioner handling your case.

For more information about your rights, please read the fact sheet entitled Your Right To Challenge Legal Costs.pdf
